The teacher training in-person location is Jiaran Yoga Studio in
Santa Clara, California, near the Bay Area, and in the heart of
Silicon Valley. Jiaran Yoga believes yoga practice is a chance to
get rooted in who we are without being overwhelmed by the
outside noise and today’s technological overload. This allows us
to realize that our perspective on life is valued and beautiful in all
of its complexity. Yoga helps us quiet our minds, open our hearts,
and treat ourselves as sacred, opening pathways for comfort,

Acharya Kamal
Founder and Lead Teacher, Samavaya
From a young age, Acharya immersed himself in the rich world of yogic practices, embarking on a transformative journey that was profoundly shaped during his time at Gurukul, the traditional Indian educational system emphasizing mentorship and holistic learning. He has pursued his academic passions vigorously, earning a Master’s degree in both Yoga and Linguistics, and he possesses extensive knowledge of various Shastras and Vedas. His PhD research delves into the history of Yoga and intricate and varied aspects of the practice, revealing his deep commitment to expanding the understanding and application of this ancient discipline.
Acharya has shared his expertise and insights for many years by teaching at numerous organizations and universities, leaving a lasting impression on his students. To date, he has imparted his knowledge to thousands, inspiring them to explore the depths of Yoga and its transformative potential in their lives.
Amit G
Lead Teacher, Kuti Yoga
I was first introduced to yoga in early childhood through my family—especially by an uncle and my grandfather, who lived and breathed the yogic path. Summers often meant yoga and philosophy camps, where even with stage fright, I found myself stepping onto platforms to perform simple sequences. Without realizing it, yoga had already begun shaping me from the inside.
At 19, I consciously stepped fully onto the path of yoga, and it has been quietly guiding my life ever since. I’ve been teaching full-time since 2016, drawing from traditional lineages such as Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, Sivananda, and Iyengar.
Over the years, I’ve completed thousands of hours of yoga training, including an advanced multi-style course in Rishikesh, India. I also hold a Master’s degree in Yoga Therapy and a degree in Kinesiology with a focus on anatomy and movement, which allows me to support each student in a way that feels both safe and deeply attuned to their body.
For me, teaching yoga isn’t about leading from the front—it’s about walking alongside others, listening, adapting, and offering tools that help people reconnect with their body, breath, and sense of inner ease. Yoga has given me so much, and I feel grateful every time I get to share it and witness the quiet shifts that bring people closer to themselves.
